Tools management

This page explains how to :

• Assign tools to a personn
• report the return/loss/breakage of a tool

• Equipment button of the Visualisation Personne
• Modules > 3.Equipments/Tools> 5.Equipements movements

Tools and Tool sets must have been defined

Every flow must be assigned to :

• a person (F3-Search)
• a date (DD/MM/YYYY format)

What kind of flow is it?

• An assignment?
• A return??
• A loss?
• A breakage?

Select one of them in the field “movement type” (F3-Search)

Equipments or sets of equipments can be assigned to a person

Explanation :

• Column Equipment : make an F3-Search
  • A list of Equipments sets is proposed. To assign a set, select it and press F2. by this way, every tool that composes the set is assigned to the person (1 tool/line)
  • To assign one or several tools (and not a whole set), press ESC to show the list of available equipments
    • Then select the equipment(s) you need and confirm by pressing F2 (multiselection)

• In front of each equipment enter a Reference (mandatory) and a Real cost (optional). A default real cost can appear if it has been assigned during the setting of the equipments. Anyway you can change it

By definition, a person can only return, lose or break a tools that she possess.
So, an F3-Search on the column Equipments only shows equipments that belong to the person.

Select a tool, then press F3 on the column Reference : if several copies of a tool have been assigned to a person, then the list shows as many references as copies
The return/loss/breakage is reported one reference after another (no multiselection)

• Tools movements, in or out, are available in a dashboard (Modules > 3.Equipments/Tools > 4.Equipments/person)

• The picture above shows that the person gets 2 wireless mouses (references are separated by a /)
• This board is only available in a view mode. The content changes in real time with the movements that are being recorded in the Equipments menu

• In the window people Visualization, the grid Equipments grid shows the situation for a person
